Technical Officer, Department of Music

UCC wishes to appoint a Technical Officer within the Department of Music. Reporting to the Head of Department, the Technical Officer will provide technical support for the Department of Music's teaching, research, and performance activities. This includes maintaining and operating audio-visual, recording, and IT equipment; supporting staff and students in the use of music technologies; coordinating IT and premises work, developing and maintaining inventory systems; and ensuring the security and smooth running of departmental facilities such as studios, rehearsal rooms, and performance spaces.

Appointment may be made on the Technical Officer Salary Scale: €49,422 - €67,619 (Scale B) / €51,883 - €64,351 (Scale A).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
