Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Veterinary Medicine
The UCD One Health Centre based in University College Dublin is seeking applications for a postdoctoral researcher to work, as part of a team, on the development and implementation of a surveillance programme for Avian Influenza in wild mammals and birds. This project will focus on establishing systems for intelligent collection, processing and analysis of samples and will be conducted as part of the All Island of Ireland Surveillance of Zoonotic Pathogens programme sponsored by the Irish Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) to develop and enhance one health one island surveillance across the island of Ireland.
PD1 Salary: €47,273 - €49,890 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
