About The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of service area and/or service points.
  • As part of the catering operation, ensure service delivery is consistent and to the highest standard across all events.
  • Provide excellent customer service with a dedicated and helpful approach.
  • Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards at all times.
  • Clearing and cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
  • Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
  • Assist in the service within the whole Catering department as requested, including front of house duties during busy periods.
  • Contribute to the organisation's sustainability objectives.


Essential Hiring Criteria:

  • Excellent time keeping and reliability
  • Self-initiative, well organised and ability to work on his/her own
  • A can-do attitude and flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • General knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Understanding of basic food hygiene and HACCP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
