About The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of service area and/or service points.
- As part of the catering operation, ensure service delivery is consistent and to the highest standard across all events.
- Provide excellent customer service with a dedicated and helpful approach.
- Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards at all times.
- Clearing and cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
- Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
- Assist in the service within the whole Catering department as requested, including front of house duties during busy periods.
- Contribute to the organisation's sustainability objectives.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
- Excellent time keeping and reliability
- Self-initiative, well organised and ability to work on his/her own
- A can-do attitude and flexible approach to work.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- General knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Understanding of basic food hygiene and HACCP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
