This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role within our Data Engineering squads, helping to design and build complex data flows that power critical business decisions.
You will work with our Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake, supporting key digital, customer, and regulatory initiatives across the Group.

Our Data Engineering team sits within the Group Data & Analytics Office, the centre of excellence for data across the bank. We are responsible for delivering and maintaining the platforms that power critical insights and enable the Group's transformation agenda.
You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values innovation, continuous learning, and shared success. We work in an agile way, embracing DevOps principles and modern engineering practices to deliver high-quality data solutions.
This is a hybrid role, based primarily in Dublin. We typically ask colleagues to spend a minimum of 8 days per month working in-person to support teamwork and connection. Specific arrangements will be confirmed by your recruiter to ensure they meet the needs of the role and team.

In this role, you will:
- Design and build robust data pipelines within our Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring reliability and performance
- Apply engineering best practices such as code reviews, documentation, and quality controls
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues to deliver data solutions that meet business needs
- Mentor and support other engineers, while contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture
- Find opportunities to improve processes, drive automation, and enhance how we deliver value through data
What will make you stand out?
You bring strong experience working with data warehousing solutions and enjoy solving complex technical challenges. You are comfortable working with SQL and Python, and have hands-on experience with Teradata and data integration tools.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (Kimball and Inmon) and experience building and managing data pipelines across batch, CDC, API, streaming, and large/unstructured datasets
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Oozie, Ctrl-M) and modern DataOps practices including CI/CD, version control, and automation (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Terraform)
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and reporting/visualisation tools (e.g. Collibra, Atlas, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik)
- Comfortable working in agile delivery environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) using tools such as Jira and Confluence, with an interest in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies
