Our Litigation & Regulation practice provides a comprehensive service on all aspects of corporate insolvency, personal insolvency and corporate restructuring.

Our team advises leading insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, alternative lenders, investors, unsecured creditors, debtors, directors and shareholders on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring issues.

We are looking for agile and adaptable candidates that have both contentious and advisory experience who can handle work a varied and/or complex workload. Candidates should also have a strong academic track record. If you have a minimum of 2 years PQE from a top or mid-tier law firm, or you have an interesting in-house role, or if you're returning to Ireland then we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities include;
  • Advising a varied client base which includes insolvency practitioners (as appointed office holders), banks and other financial institutions, corporates, creditors, directors and shareholders on both contentious and non-contentious corporate recovery and insolvency matters.
  • Advising and acting for clients in respect of the following -
  • Advising secured creditors in relation to enforcement options
  • Trading and Fixed Asset Receiverships
  • All aspects of Insolvent and solvent liquidations
  • Examinerships and Part Schemes
  • Advising on directors' duties
  • Cross border insolvency (both corporate and individual)
  • Advising in commercial litigation matters including managing litigation caseload in all courts with an emphasis on the superior courts to include drafting pleadings, liaising with counsel (where applicable) and management of case files to conclusion.
  • Advising and drafting in regulatory matters for clients
  • Advising on data protection and cybersecurity disputes
  • Advising on AI governance, compliance and emerging technology regulation
  • Interpreting, analysing and advising clients on relevant case law and legislation
  • Management of the client relationship
  • Working with senior department members on a variety of matters
  • Advising clients on ADR options, and participating in mediations and arbitrations
  • Advising clients on how to resolve disputes effectively
