Overview

The focus of this leadership role is to provide clear sales and client management and operational governance, to support and grow CPM's fundraising Team on behalf of our client MSF.

This part-time role will support the small but important fundraising team through sales management, recruitment and retention, while providing communication, reporting and insights to our MSF client.

The Fundraising Manager will be a champion for CPM's DNA values; helping to protect and promote CPM and our clients' security and reputation while delivering exceptional service and relationship management for our client partners.


The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:

Lead and manage the field fundraising Team

Own the daily client relationship

Monitor sales compliance and proactively develop training protocols, compliance & safety checks and reporting structures

Support operational activity through effective resource allocation and people management

Promote effective communication routes between the Sales & Operations Teams, and between CPM and the client

Deliver accurate and timely reports to management as required

Generate new ideas and ways of working focusing on efficiencies

Requirements

At least 2 years' experience in a role with a demonstrable focus on fundraising / field sales

At least 2 years' experience in client facing or sales management role

Prior experience and proven advanced ability in Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Competencies

Ability to promote a highly compliant sales environment

Confidence in dealing with decision makers and influencers, internally & externally

Ability to remain organised and structured within a fast paced and dynamic environment

Understanding of client needs and ability to tailor and communicate solutions which deliver client satisfaction while maximising commercial performance for CPM

Strong written, verbal and phone communication skills

Skills to identify and fix potential gaps in governance, compliance, safety and security

Strong relationship building skills

Analytical skills and ability to translate data into meaningful insights

Effective time management and organisation skills to maximise effectiveness through this part time role

Commitment to process and account improvements through constructive critical appraisal of role

Measures of Success

Achieve assigned KPIs on sales, commercial and client delivery metrics

Strong feedback on client engagement survey

100% on-time and accurate reporting

Identify and implement one new / improved way of working each quarter which delivers added value for the client and/or improved efficiencies and cost management for CPM
