Junior BCAR Coordinator

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Carrying out quality inspections on all works with BCAR Manager/ Senior BCAR Co-ordinator.
Collation of all project documentation relating to the assigned certifier/design certifier's inspection plans and the Building Control Amendment Regulations 2014.
Liaising with the Assigned Certifier and Resident Engineers on NCR’s raised and review of close observations with them.
Co-ordination of commencement notices
Co-ordination of inspection plans and tracking of same during the course of the projects.
Compilation of required product certification from contractors with BCAR Manager/ Senior BCAR Co-ordinator.
Tracking of open compliance issues on projects.
Co-ordination and liaison with all parties involved in the construction projects.
Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners.
Monitor BCAR Compliance, inspection status, quality performance and outstanding actions
Support project audits, reviews and compliance assessments as required.
Promote best practice in quality management, inspection processes and regulatory compliance.
Contribute to lessons learned initiatives and continuous improvement across the business.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Building Regulations, BCAR requirements, industry standard and emerging best practices.
Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be required by the Company from time to time.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a Main Contractor (commercial project experience desirable).
Third level construction management, engineering, architectural, or surveying background.
Knowledge of Quality Control and Building Regulations in the construction industry.
Strong team member with the ability to identify and support implementation of quality improvements
Committed to Continued Professional development, willingness to learn, passionate about better building.
Good communication skills - Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
Good administrative/ organisational ability with high level of attention to detail.
Desirable:
Valid Safepass and Manual Handling certification
Full Drivers licence
