Electrical Design Engineer

The role will require strong technical skills and communication and interaction with managers, engineers, internal and external team members, clients and suppliers. Role and responsibilities: Develop new electrical designs and innovative concepts to meet project requirements Assess and interpret client specifications to ensure alignment with project goals Prepare detailed electrical technical designs and submissions for approval Design electrical instrumentation systems to meet operational needs Assist in the development and structuring of system architecture for projects Preparation of Electrical Technical Designs & Submissions Coordinate with cross-functional teams Prepare Cable, IO & Power schedules Evaluation and selection of sub-contractors and suppliers Preparation of procurement specifications and quotation evaluationsManage project documentation in accordance with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan Occasionally travel to site to support site activities as required Requirements: Industry Knowledge: Experience in the water and wastewater treatment sector is highly desirable.
