Primary Job Function
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, stability, and performance of enterprise applications. Ensures applications meet business needs through monitoring, incident resolution, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with business, IT, and vendors to maintain reliable and efficient service delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Support daily application operations, ensuring availability and performance
- Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents in a timely manner
- Manage tickets using ITSM processes (incident, problem, change)
- Maintain documentation (runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles)
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive fixes
- Support releases, upgrades, and change activities
- Communicate status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders
- Assist in maintaining compliance with GxP and regulatory requirements.
- Support validation activities, including testing, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Ensure adherence to data integrity, security, and access control policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to escalate and resolve technical issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Provide on-call support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years' experience in of application support, IT operations, or service delivery roles.
- Knowledge of ITSM processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Familiarity with system integrations, databases, or cloud environments preferred
- Exposure to regulated environments (GxP, Pharma/Med Dev, Life Sciences) is preferred.
