Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager tohelp drive the continued growth of some of Ireland's leading household brands.
Deliverables
- Act as the key Boyne Valley contact for Household portfolio accounts and customer groups, building and maintaining strong commercial relationships.
- Manage key Tier 1 customer accounts for the Boyne Valley Group Household business unit, working with some of Ireland's biggest household brands.
- Take ownership of top-line sales and profit contribution across the customer base, ensuring account performance supports overall business objectives.
- Manage pricing setup for responsible accounts and support the effective implementation of commercial terms agreements.
- Handle finance queries for accounts under remit, working cross-functionally to resolve issues efficiently and maintain strong customer service standards.
- Manage stock forecasting for the full Household product range, ensuring availability and alignment with customer demand and promotional plans.
- Lead promotional planning, setup and post-promotion evaluation to optimise sales performance and return on investment.
- Manage NPD listings and maintain current portfolio listings across all relevant accounts, ensuring strong execution and visibility of the Household range.
- Identify and develop new opportunities for customer growth and communicate new account opportunities to support wider business development.
- Lead annual range reviews, competitor analysis and market feedback to support informed commercial decision-making.
- Communicate clearly with ROI sales and merchandising teams regarding promotions, stock levels and actions required to support strong in-market execution.
- Provide additional support as required across the business unit to meet commercial and operational priorities. Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key customers
- Identify channel and shopper trends to inform commercial decision-making
- Lead commercial negotiations with customers, including pricing, promotions and trade investment agreements
- Influence customer decision-making to secure optimal outcomes for Boyne Valley brands
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in FMCG, ideally with responsibility for managing customer head office buyer relationships across wholesale and retail channels.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage sales, margin, pricing, promotions and customer performance.
- Experience in sales forecasting, stock management and promotional planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into clear commercial actions.
- A proactive, organised and resilient approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
