Goods-In Operative - Chill & Frozen Stock Management

BWG Foods are currently recruiting for a General Operative on a Full-Time Permanent basis based in Value Centre, Galway.

Duties Include:
• Replenish the chill and frozen storage areas.
• Checking-in chill and frozen deliveries into the Depot.
• Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.
• Stock management
• Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and HACCP requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirement.
• Attend monthly briefings/meetings.
• Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products.
• Ensure all areas maintained and clean and tidy at all times.
• Assist customers.
• Other associated duties as requested by your manager.
• Required to operate in various temperature environments: ambient, chilled, and frozen

• Have good organisational and time management abilities.
• Be proactive.
• Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
• Have a good working knowledge of HACCP.
• Be motivated and enthusiastic.
• Be dedicated and flexible.
• Have the ability to project a professional image at all times.
• Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.
• Experience operating a reach forklift, along with a current and valid operator's certificate, is highly desirable
• Must be comfortable working in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environment
