Manager, HR
What you'll do:
Serve as a Human Resource Strategic Business Partner for our Cork facility by providing counsel, advice and recommendations, related to Human Resources matters, to leaders at all levels of the organization.
Assist in developing strategies that ensure the availability, quality and capability of Human Resources to achieve business plan objectives.
Assist in developing plans for attracting and retaining key talent and ensuring engagement of the workforce.
Lead recruiting, candidate selection, employee and team development, change management, and compensation planning for client group.
Coach, advise and consult with management and employees regarding career development, job performance, disciplinary action, general employee relations, etc.
Provide advice, counsel and support for benefits, training, compliance programs and HR Information Systems to client group.
Administers policies and procedures for employment, placement, termination and employee transfers. Ensures the consistent and equitable application of organization policies and procedures.
Takes appropriate actions to address and resolve employee relations issues.
Guides client leaders through a process of developing answers, solutions, and/or strategies to deal fairly, legally and effectively with people-related matters. Forms a business partnership with senior leadership in the daily operation of the business.
Provide guidance and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.

Preferred characteristics:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, Master's Degree preferred.
A minimum of 7+ years of human resource management experience preferred.
Experience of working in a Unionized Manufacturing Organization an advantage.
Experience of managing a team desireable.
Strong facilitation, negotiation and project management skills.
