Student Ambassadors will publicly represent the university. Embodying all the positive reasons to study at St Patrick's, they will reinforce the university's values in a way that is more accessible to the school-leaver target audience.
By becoming a Student Ambassador for St Patrick's Pontifical University, Maynooth you will be part of a team available to assist the university in the 2026/27 academic year, specifically with:

The Programme will commence with a short induction where the annual calendar of activity will be communicated. The programme will run for the full academic year, from September 2026 to June 2027.

By becoming a Student Ambassador for St Patrick's Pontifical University, Maynooth you will be part of a team available to assist the university in the 2026/27 academic year, specifically with:
- Providing testimonials - verbal, written, recorded and photographic
- Taking part in photography, video and other marketing projects
- Attending Student Recruitment fairs and Open Days advocating on behalf of the University
- Acting as Meet and Greet at specific identified events
- Being available to prospective students at specific points to answer questions about university life
- Being active on Social media on behalf of the University
- Assisting with conferences as identified. (This can include registration desks, roaming mics for Q&As,
directions for guests) - Providing a link for Marketing to facilitate recruitment of existing students for Research Focus groups,
photoshoots, and other activities. - Assisting with other campaigns from the President's office and Events. Examples include but are not
limited to, Christmas Carols service, Awards night, Graduation day, campus tours, St Patricks Day Appeal. - Represent the university and project a professional manner including wearing branded clothing at times as requested
- Generate the internal Undergraduate Student Newsletter
- Other projects may be identified throughout the year.
Applicants should have the following skills
- Excellent communication skills for a variety of audiences
- Excellent social media skills
- Comfortable communicating with people at in-person events
- Ability to react effectively to changing situations
- Show leadership skills
