The Lunch Bag is hiring a Mobile Caretaker / Maintenance Technician to support our growing hot school meals programme across County Cork.
This is a full-time, field-based role suited to someone practical, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
You'll travel between schools helping install, maintain, and support kitchen equipment used in our hot food service.

We are seeking to expand our road support team to ensure our schools are ready to begin their new hot food service and maintain the standards thereafter. Your role will include:

This job is offered on a full-time basis, 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday!
Well, for starters - a decent rate of pay and a genuinely supportive team who've got your back. Full training will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to grow with a fast-growing Irish company.
You'll get a company vehicle and a fuel card.
You will earn €33,000 per year.

- Assessing the best area in the school for the oven(s)
- Ensure the area is prepared for it's new purpose
- Carry out basic maintenance and repairs
- Install and position ovens/equipment
- Troubleshoot issues on-site
What we're looking for
You'll be perfect for the job if you:
- Practical, hands-on mindset
- Comfortable using tools and carrying out basic repairs
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and organised
- Comfortable working independently
- Experience in maintenance, caretaking, facilities, fitting, or similar work is an advantage
