About the Position

Reporting to the Director of Finance, Operations & HR, you will lead the HR function and act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team. This is a high-impact role spanning people strategy, organisational design, employee relations, workforce planning, leadership development, engagement, governance and HR operations and they are seeking an accomplished and influential Head of Human Resources to lead its people, culture and organisational development agenda at a pivotal stage in its evolution

This is a rare senior leadership opportunity to shape culture, strengthen capability and help deliver the Law Society's Strategic Ambitions 2024-2028.

You will have genuine scope to influence organisation-wide change, develop a forward-looking people strategy, support senior leaders, lead key HR and organisational development initiatives, manage important stakeholder relationships, and ensure strong governance, compliance and risk management across the HR function.

Experience/Requirements

You will be a credible, solutions-focused senior HR leader with the confidence to operate strategically while remaining close to delivery.

You will bring:
  • Significant senior HR leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience leading teams, budgets and organisational change
  • Excellent communication and senior stakeholder influencing skills
  • Sound judgement, resilience and a collaborative leadership style
  • Experience in professional services, or in business/ commercial sector would be advantageous
  • CIPD membership preferred
