At Apleona we are always on the lookout for dynamic and talent individuals , Currently we are recruiting for Landscaping Operative in Dublin City

Shift Pattern Monday - Sunday 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel between multiple sites daily/weekly to deliver scheduled and reactive landscaping works
  • Carry out grounds maintenance including grass cutting, strimming, edging, hedge trimming, and weed control
  • Perform seasonal works such as planting, pruning, leaf clearance, and site tidy-ups
  • Deliver soft landscaping (turfing, seeding, planting) and support minor hard landscaping (kerbing, fencing, small repairs)
  • Operate van-mounted and portable equipment efficiently across different site environments
  • Complete works within allocated time windows, often early morning or out-of-hours to suit client operations
  • Ensure all areas are left clean, safe, and client-ready on completion
  • Liaise with supervisors and clients on-site regarding access, scope, and additional works
  • Accurately complete work orders (WOs), timesheets, and job reports
  • Adhere to strict time windows (e.g., pre-opening retail sites, live environments)
  • Plan workload efficiently to minimise travel time and maximise productivity
  • Adapt to last-minute schedule changes due to weather, client priorities, or operational demands
  • Support other industrial services when required (e.g., power washing, external cleaning)
  • Follow all RAMS, SOPs, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Work safely in live environments (e.g., retail stores, industrial facilities, public areas) and Use PPE correctly and consistently
  • Identify hazards on arrival and implement control measures before starting work
  • Ensure safe use of chemicals (herbicides, treatments) in line with COSHH guidelines• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately
  • Operate and maintain company vans and landscaping equipment
  • Daily vehicle checks and reporting of defects and Ensure safe loading/unloading and securing of equipment


Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance within a mobile/multi-site environment
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience managing time-sensitive workloads across multiple locations
  • Competent in using landscaping machinery and equipment
  • Good understanding of health & safety practices in live environments
  • Full clean driving licence (essential)
  • Safe Pass / CSCS Card
  • Garda Vetting required
