Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Develop and execute territory and account acquisition plans to achieve growth targets.
- Build relationships with prospective customers, key decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
- Generate qualified sales opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, and outbound prospecting activities.
- Conduct customer meetings and site visits to identify automation opportunities and understand customer requirements.
- Collaborate with Program Technical Directors and engineering teams to develop solutions and proposals.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract award.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting process within CRM systems.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Represent MMT at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and networking activities.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years' experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Experience within automation, manufacturing, engineering services, industrial equipment, medical devices, or related sectors.
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical solutions and communicate customer value propositions.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong commercial mindset.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
