About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Financial Controller - Agribusiness and Member Trading (A&MT) and based in Lombardstown, Mallow, Co, Cork, the Milling Finance Business Partner will work as part of the cohesive, driven and dynamic Finance Team provide financial expertise for the Dairygold Milling & Grain Business through analysis of data and providing "value add" insights. This role will help ensure that the Dairygold Milling & Grain Business is run effectively and efficiently, while delivering the strategic objectives

Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:
- Providing reliable and accurate information to the business on a weekly and monthly basis to facilitate effective decision making by senior management.
- Responsible for the preparation and submission of monthly management accounts, cost and yield variances and the forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Reviewing and analysing product performance and profitability to maximize sales and margin.
- Responsible for the accurate, efficient and timely processing of Harvest Grain Payments to growers.
- Analysis of departmental expenditure with identification of cost saving initiatives.
- Reporting on, interpreting and control of stock valuations, stock levels, and stock movements, attendance at stock-takes, reviewing stocktaking instructions and policies.
- Reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) in line with the Dairygold Policy Document Management System (DPDMS).
- Assisting in the implementation of key financial and operational controls to ensure key risks are controlled (risk register).
- Liaising with internal and external auditors and ensuring implementation of requests and recommendations.
- Providing accurate information and key insights.
- Ensure that this role is carried out pro-actively with passion and energy, and in a collaborative manner with all colleagues.
The successful candidate will have:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other relevant accounting qualification.
- 5+ years post qualification experience in a similar role.
- Strong IT skills especially Excel (aptitude for running/manipulating reports, large volumes of data, pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
- An ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
- Resilience and be capable of dealing with pressurised situations and deadlines.
- An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with other staff and to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
