We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Storesperson to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Catering

What you'll do

• Washing all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and equipment, food service equipment.
• Ensuring that the following are kept clean and tidy and to a very high standard:

- Floors & Walls, Bins - inside and out

- Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes

- Fridges & Freezers (with assistance of chefs)

- Organising and maintaining delivery areas

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas.
• To be aware of and to adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene and COSHH regulations governing the work you are undertaking and to ensure the correct chemicals/detergents are always used.
• Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef.
• To report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor
• Stock Rotation and ensure the store cupboards are in good order
• Take deliveries and accurately, sign or refute delivery notes
• Support stocktakes and other reasonable tasks

What you'll bring

• Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others
• Basic food-handling skills
• Be physically able to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Limited previous work experience required
