Post Summary**:-** This role is funded under the HEA Performance Funding Programme as part of a nationally significant impact case study initiative, recognising higher education institutions' positive and innovative contributions to society. The DigiAcademy Initiative has been awarded funding under this programme in line with national priorities on inclusion, access, and societal impact.
The Research Fellow will support, through the provision of excellent research and evaluation activities, the delivery of the Empowering learners with intellectual disabilities (ID) - Inclusive education and employment pathways (DigiAcademy Initiative). This is a nationally and European-recognised inclusive digital education initiative that has already demonstrated significant impact in widening access to education and employment for people with intellectual disabilities.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract
Hours of Post: 37.5 hours
Salary: Appointment will be made on the IUA Post -doctoral Researcher Salary Scale (Level 1, €47,273-€53,925)
