As a Sales Manager, you will lead and coach a high-performing Dutch sales team that uses strong sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will lead relationships and sales engagement with high-potential small businesses from all verticals and business models in the Netherlands market. Be it a startup or a more mature business, wherever they stand in their journey, your team sets them up for long-term sustained success by bringing the best of digital advertising solutions from Google.
In this role, you will enable your team to always reach ambitious revenue and productivity goals. Your knowledge of the business landscape and online media, combined with your sales and analytical abilities, shapes how new and existing clients will grow. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales Managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 11 years of sales experience in advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
- Experience in a people management role leading sales teams in the Netherlands market.
- Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently to engage with clients in the region.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing relationships with customers or agencies and service partners at an executive level.
- Experience working in SMB (Small and Medium-sized Business) sales in the Netherlands market.
- Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics or e-commerce experience, with an understanding of e-commerce dynamics.
- Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including executive level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, competitive offerings, including track record in commercial teams.
- Ability to grow in a rapidly changing environment, and effective problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Recruit, retain, motivate, and develop a client-facing and high-performing sales team for the Netherlands market.
- Deliver against ambitious business and product goals, grow engagement, and client satisfaction for a portfolio of small businesses in an assigned market.
- Analyze data, trends, and client performance with your teams to develop plans for customers while tracking activity. Provide detailed data analysis weekly, driving consistent customer relationship management tracking.
- Model and coach sales behaviors, including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and selling.
