Plasterer / Skimmer

Job Description
Gleoite Homes are recruiting a Plasterer & Skimmer to work on various projects in Galway and in our Manufacturing Facility in Kilchreest.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and mixing different types of raw materials to get the plaster ready
• Applying the plaster to the surface being worked on (inside walls, ceilings, outside walls)
• Carrying out solid plastering as well as applying wet finishes
• Fitting internal plasterboards, also referred to as dry lining or wallboard.
• Installing pebble-dash or sand, on outside walls for protection
• Realising repairs and renovations

Requirements
Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required

Benefits

Location: Site-based, with the majority of work in Galway City and County

• Pay Rate: €20 per hour
• Hours: 40-hour paid week
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:30
• Overtime and Saturday work available
