Who are we looking for?
The Head of Report Computations is a senior leadership role within the Client Reporting function, accountable for the control, integrity, and regulatory compliance of all calculated data supporting investor reporting outputs within a SaaS operating model (Palana & Kurtosys platforms).
The role operates at a senior management level, acting as the authoritative owner of computation outputs and regulatory interpretation, with responsibility for ensuring all Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) and applicable regulations are consistently applied across all reporting services.
A key component of the role is the establishment of a scalable, expert-led computations capability with strong control culture, ensuring depth of regulatory knowledge, reduced key person dependency, and consistent audit-ready outputs.

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
  • Extensive experience in regulatory reporting, data computation, or control functions.
  • Strong knowledge of PRIIPs, UCITS, EMT/EPT, CCI, Solvency II, EET frameworks
  • Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of RTS and regulatory calculation methodologies.
  • Proven experience operating at senior management level with cross-functional influence.
  • Experience with SaaS or platform-based operating models is desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder and client engagement capability.

What is your role and your responsibilities?
  • Operate as the senior accountable owner for computation frameworks and outputs across all regulatory and client reporting services.
  • Act as the primary senior interface with the Global Data Management team, ensuring alignment on data ownership, governance, and data quality standards.
  • Engage closely with Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) to support client discussions, regulatory queries, and management of material changes.
  • Represent the computation function in client interactions, providing clear explanation of methodologies and regulatory interpretation where required.
  • Work with Technology teams to define and prioritise development requirements within Carne-supported platforms and the Palana & Kurtosys platforms and influence the platform roadmap.
  • Ensure all client onboarding and implementation set-up requirements for computations are met in line with internal frameworks, client requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain oversight of onboarding deliverables including platform configuration, validation of calculation methodologies, and formal sign-off prior to go-live.
  • Lead and develop the Report Computations team, embedding a strong control, governance, and accountability culture.
  • Define and govern material change frameworks with clear documentation, justification, and regulatory alignment.
  • Ensure all computed data outputs are accurate, validated, and fit for purpose prior to report compilation.
  • Partner with the Client Reporting Operations and Service Delivery teams to align computation outputs with production timelines.
  • Provide senior management with insight on performance, risks, and control effectiveness.
  • Ensure factsheet computations meet the same high standards as regulatory outputs.
  • Drive continuous improvement supported by defined KPIs and metrics.

  • Lead and manage a high-performing Report Computations team with clear accountability, objectives, and performance expectations.
  • Build a centre of excellence for regulatory computations with deep expertise in RTS, calculation methodologies, and data controls.
  • Develop structured onboarding, training, and continuous learning programmes across regulatory frameworks and platform capabilities.
  • Ensure consistency of approach through standardised methodologies, documentation, and cross-training.
  • Implement robust performance management including coaching, development plans, and progression pathways.
  • Promote strong ownership, proactive issue management, and audit-ready decision-making across the team.
  • Drive team capability to operate with increasing autonomy, enabling scalability of the SaaS model and reducing key person dependency.
