Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position
  • Proven experience in financial risk roles, with a strong focus on credit risk model development and validation, particularly IRB or IFRS9 frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or finance discipline (minimum 2.1).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R or SAS is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in extracting and interpreting complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data insights for non-expert audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead meetings and identify risks and challenges during engagements.
  • Valid work rights for the role location (no sponsorship available).

  • Leading client meetings and workshops to discuss model development and validation outcomes.
  • Identifying and managing risks and challenges throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contributing to thought leadership and knowledge sharing on financial risk and regulatory topics.
  • Building and nurturing relationships within the local financial services community.
