Senior Powerplant Consultant | Dublin or Remote | Aviation

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Powerplant Consultant to join a leading global aviation asset management company. This is a senior, hands-on technical role within the Fleet Management team, working across a range of commercial engine projects for both internal and third-party clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Acting as a virtual powerplant manager for airline and lessor clients.
• Managing multiple commercial engine projects from start to finish.
• Overseeing shop visits — from workscope compilation and inspection attendance to invoice review.
• Tracking and reporting on Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) and Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM).
• Leading cost optimisation and maintenance forecasting initiatives.
• Negotiating technical aspects of engine sales, leases, and service agreements.
• Supporting engine transitions, records audits, borescopes, and inspections.
• Providing mentorship to junior team members and supporting new business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years’ experience in powerplant-focused roles.
• Strong technical knowledge across CFM, P&W, GE, IAE, and/or RR products.
• Ideally degree-qualified, with prior airline or lessor experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Commercially astute, self-motivated, and confident in negotiations.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Location & Flexibility:

Ideally, you’ll be based in Dublin and happy to work from the office three days a week (typically Tuesday - Thursday). Monday and Friday can be remote but for the right person, fully remote will be considered.
