Job Overview
The Motor Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles to ensure performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to develop within a well-established automotive team.
The Motor Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles to ensure performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to develop within a well-established automotive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic checks, test drives, and inspections to identify faults
- Repair and replace defective parts, systems, and components as required
- Carry out maintenance checks on filters, brakes, and other key systems
- Diagnose electrical and electronic issues and install or replace components
- Perform clutch replacements, timing belt repairs, and general mechanical maintenance
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues
- Ensure all work meets company quality, safety, and documentation standards
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in line with health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification at NQF Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on post-qualification experience
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical repair knowledge
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- EU or UK passport, or existing right to live and work in Ireland
