Essential Requirements

- Proven experience maintaining, servicing, or repairing forklifts, plant machinery, or heavy-duty construction/agricultural equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
- Full driving licence (field service vehicle provided)
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills

Job Overview
As a Mobile Forklift Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in delivering top-quality service directly to customer sites. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of forklifts and related machinery. As a Mobile Forklift Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in delivering top-quality service directly to customer sites. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of forklifts and related machinery. Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites to diagnose, service, and repair forklifts and plant equipment
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems efficiently
- Maintain accurate service records and complete all job documentation on time
- Liaise with service coordinators and managers to ensure smooth job scheduling
- Uphold strict safety and compliance standards at all times
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients on-site
Qualifications
- Recognised trade qualification in Forklift Mechanics, Construction Plant Fitting, or Agricultural Mechanics (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical repair of forklifts, plant, or agricultural machinery
- Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Computer literacy for service documentation and diagnostics
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across service routes

- Fixed hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30–17:30 | Friday 8:30–16:30
