Stack & Co Recruitment is working with a small, well\-established Managed Service Provider based in South County Dublin that is entering an important growth phase. We're hiring a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>strong, experienced Level 2 Senior Technical Support Engineer<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> who is comfortable taking ownership of technical issues and supporting SME clients to a high standard.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

This role will particularly suit someone <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>already living in South County Dublin or nearby<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>, who values a shorter commute and being part of a small, close\-knit technical team.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

The Role<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

This is a <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>pure Level 2 position<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> within a micro\-MSP environment. You'll be supporting an existing customer base, handling technical issues end\-to\-end, and contributing to project work as required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

You'll be trusted to work independently, manage your own workload, and deliver reliable, consistent support with minimal escalation. Previous <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>MSP experience is essential<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

You will have access to project work, and a rapid pathway up to Level 3. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

What You'll Be Doing<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

  • Providing Level 2 technical support to SME clients, primarily remote with occasional rare on\-site visits<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

      \n
    • Windows desktop and server environments<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Active Directory (on\-prem and hybrid)<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Microsoft Intune \/ Endpoint Manager<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Azure AD \/ Entra ID<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Azure Virtual Desktop and core Azure services<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Networking fundamentals, firewalls, and connectivity<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

    • Owning tickets through to resolution and communicating clearly with clients throughout<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Carrying out routine system checks, updates, patching, and preventative maintenance<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Supporting project work such as migrations, upgrades, and new client onboarding<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation and knowledge base content<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    • Working closely with the business owner to help improve technical standards and processes<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>\n <\/ul>

      Some infrequent client site visits are required. A <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>full clean Irish driving licence and access to a car<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span> are essential. Mileage is fully reimbursed.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
