Our client, a growing and dynamic MSP based in Dublin 12, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Level 1 IT Support Engineer<\/b> to join their technical support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants to grow within a fast\-paced managed services environment.
<\/p>

You'll work as part of a collaborative helpdesk team, providing frontline support to clients and assisting with day\-to\-day technical issues. You'll also receive support, ongoing training, and the opportunity to develop your technical skills further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email and ticketing system
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Log, track and update support tickets with accurate detail
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Perform password resets, account administration and software installations
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 and common business applications
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Troubleshoot basic networking issues (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP)
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Escalate complex issues to Level 2 engineers with clear documentation
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Assist with onboarding and setup of equipment for new users
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Work closely with colleagues in a professional, customer\-focused manner
    <\/p><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/h3>

  • 6-12 months+ experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk role
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Must have experience working in an Irish MSP or Microsoft Partner<\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Microsoft 365 administration and Active Directory experience is required<\/b>
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Basic networking understanding (IP, DNS, DHCP)
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Ability to follow procedures, log issues and work to SLA
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Must be based in Ireland and have a valid visa to work legally to work in Ireland
    <\/p><\/li>\n
