As a UPW Technician working with the LotusWorks team on a compressed work week shift pattern, you will join our client site in the semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Leixlip, Kildare.

You will be responsible for maintaining the Ultra-Pure Water systems that are used to support manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • As UPW Technician your job responsibilities will include:
  • Carry out Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities on UPW systems as dictated by the CMMS and following the relevant job plans.
  • Support any Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities as requested from your supervisor.
  • Record all PM and CM activities through the CMMS system (Maximo)
  • Ensure all procedures are adhered to when executing tasks, such as CoHe, permit to work, etc.
  • Ensure all training is up to date before executing tasks.
  • Carry out all tasks in a safe manner and escalate any concerns.
  • Have the ability to read and understand P&ID drawings.
  • Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures.
  • Work with operations and engineering teams to support testing of any changes to an operational system.
  • Have excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, which above all, pose no risk to health and secondly provide no potential risk to any systems.
  • Demonstrate ownership and show initiative to resolve issues in a timely manner in a high paced environment.
  • Have excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Flexibility to work a Compressed Work Week shift pattern.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Skills Required:

  • 3 Years+ industry experience.
  • Able to work independently in a safe manner such that there is no injury to self or others.
  • The ability to follow technical manuals and engineering diagrams.
  • Identification and resolution of faults
  • Replacing worn or damaged parts and re-setting instrument controls
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns, for example replacing filters or valves

Education / Licenses / Certifications:

  • Fetac Level 6 trade qualification in Mechanical OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
