Job Description TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) have partnered with a leading organisation to hire an Occupational Therapist (Staff Grade) - Community Psychiatry of Later Life in Mullingar. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patients' functional abilities and quality of life. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and family members to ensure holistic care. Conduct home visits to assess patients' living environments and recommend necessary modifications to improve safety and independence. Deliver therapeutic group sessions and activities to promote social engagement and cognitive stimulation. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and caregivers on coping strategies, adaptive techniques, and available community resources. Maintain up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with CORU Experience in elderly care preferably within a community setting. Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic work environment. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for community visits. Be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam. Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
