Job Description On behalf of a leading disability organisation, TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting the following positions for the Kilkenny area. Social Care worker - Salary from 36,379.00 to 52,445.00 Social care Leader - Salary from 44,111.00 to 52,445.00 All contracts are permanent. Roster: The Social Care Worker will work a fully flexible roster across 7 days and nights and the Social Care Leader will work Monday to Friday, short days with flexibility and will have the option of working on call with an allowance of 3904 per annum extra. Requirements for Team Lead role: A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care or in a relevant professional discipline. At least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility At least 3 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector Detailed understanding of developments at national and sectoral level in relation to quality and safety within disability services. Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams. A full drivers licence is an essential requirement Requirements for Social Care Worker role: Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care. Have 1 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities. An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services. An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported. Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams. A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
