Job Description Role: Staff Grade Occupational Therapist Location: Gormanston, Co. Meath Salary: Competitive incremental salary scales Job Type: Full Time Permanent TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) are recruiting for a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist in Co. Meath. This is a newly developed service in a low-secure mental health facility which is expanding. Duties: Manage a caseload, carrying out assessment, evidenced based intervention and evaluation of treatment programmes for individuals presenting with complex mental health difficulties residing in an approved centre. Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention is to be provided with consideration for self-care, productive and leisure occupations. Engage in interdisciplinary working with members of the clinical team including but not limited to Consultant Psychiatrists, Behaviour Specialists, Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Care Workers and Assistance Support Workers to meet the person-centred needs of individuals on your caseload. Develop and facilitate individual and group therapy programmes within the mental health unit based on the identified occupational performance difficulties of individuals. Promote recovery-oriented occupational therapy practice in your interactions and work with individuals, staff and other key stakeholders. Participate in promoting compliance with the Judgement Support Framework Contribute to individual care planning, risk assessment and risk management. Key Requirements: CORU registration 1 year post graduate experience Experience working in forensic or adult mental health services Experience working with individuals with complex mental health presentations Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) Full drivers license and car Benefits: Hybrid working Company Pension.
