IP Semiconductor Service Engineer

IP Semiconductor Service Engineer needed for on site support of new equipment installations and maintenance in Leixlip area. Semiconductor Service engineers repair, service and optimize Canon's semiconductor machines at customer sites. The engineer will be required to work on various kinds of Canon semiconductor equipment and work with customers to maintain uptime of busy production equipment. Interaction with customers is essential in the job so a positive outlook and flexible approach are required. Remuneration in the role is very good and the successful applicant can move forward in a very rewarding career. The role is site based.

• Minimum HNC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• High standard of written and spoken English and numeracy skills
• Electrical or electronic background for a minimum of 3 years.
• Mechanical skills advantageous
• Computer literate with a good competence of standard software including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach
• Proven employment track record
• Clean driving licence

Non-essential skills that would be advantageous

• Previous stepper experience would be beneficial

• Servicing customers equipment on site in a busy cleanroom environment
• Installation of several new Semiconductor manufacturing machines of different types
• Challenging and cutting edge technology requiring skill and experience
• Working together with customers to maintain and optimize machine productivity in a busy production environment
• Keeping up to date on service information
• Writing service reports both for customers and for internal
