D365 CE & Power Platform (Technical) Solution Architect
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a D365 CE & Power Platform (Technical) Solution Architect based in Ireland.
This is a senior architecture role focused on shaping and delivering enterprise-grade customer engagement solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and Azure technologies. You will play a pivotal role in defining end-to-end solution architecture, guiding digital transformation strategies, and ensuring seamless integration across complex enterprise ecosystems. The role combines strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on architectural leadership, requiring close collaboration with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. You will lead design workshops, influence technology decisions, and ensure solutions are scalable, future-proof, and aligned with business value outcomes. Operating within international environments, you will contribute to cross-border transformation programs spanning multiple industries. This is a high-impact position where your architectural decisions directly shape long-term customer success and platform evolution.
Accountabilities:
- Lead discovery, envisioning, and architecture design workshops with clients to define solution strategy and requirements
- Design and document scalable enterprise architecture solutions across Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and Azure ecosystems
- Define technology choices and architectural standards aligned with business goals and transformation roadmaps
- Guide end-to-end CRM and customer engagement implementations, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery
- Provide proactive architectural oversight during project delivery, anticipating risks and supporting resolution of complex issues
- Analyze customer operational landscapes to validate architectural decisions and ensure solution fit
- Optimize business processes through technology enablement and structured process redesign
- Contribute to agile delivery initiatives and support continuous improvement across project execution
- Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft technologies and translate them into scalable solution strategies
- Develop internal best practices, tools, and architectural frameworks to support delivery teams
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM environments
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect on at least 4 full-cycle international CRM implementations
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the broader Microsoft technology ecosystem, including Power Platform and Azure
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, business requirement analysis, and solution design
- Experience working in complex, international, and multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong pre-sales experience is highly desirable, including solution design and client presentations
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with both technical and business audiences
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global, multicultural teams
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian) are a plus
- Strong mentoring and coaching abilities to support technical teams and junior architects
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
