Job Description

We are currently looking for a 3D Environment Modelling Artist (Unreal Engine) to join our talented team here at our Dublin studio. The successful candidate will create allocated environments and props for the designated show, in line with the workflow and pipeline needs and to a consistent style and the quality level required.

This is a Fixed-Term, 5-Month contract based in Dublin.

Please note that our studio operates on a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days per week required in the studio.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities
• Create high-quality 3D environments and assets to include terrain, architecture, foliage, props, and set dressing.
• Utilise Unreal Engine and Autodesk Maya to construct and refine environments for optimal performance and visual quality.
• Collaborate closely with the art team to ensure environments align with artistic vision and production requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to environment creation and integration.
• Stay up to date with the latest Unreal Engine features and industry's best practices.
• Working to maintain the Brown Bag modelling pipeline.
• Developing environment modelling workflows and techniques.

Key Requirements
Knowledge
• Working knowledge of the overall 3D asset creation pipeline and workflow; set dressing and instancing; previz to modelling workflow.

Experience
• Proven experience as a 3D Environment artist in TV, film, or related industries using Unreal Engine. (Essential)
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Maya.
• Use of asset tracking systems (e.g. Shotgrid) and Speed tree (desirable).

Technical skills
• Ability to optimise assets for performance without compromising visual quality. A strong portfolio showcasing environment work in Unreal Engine.

Salary
39,000.00 - 48,600.00
