Aramark Ireland are currently looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team in Limerick.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with food hygiene regulations, particularly HACCP requirements, at all times.
- Check and receive food deliveries, ensuring only products that meet the required quality standards are accepted into the unit.
- Ensure proper food storage in line with hygiene regulations and follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation system.
- Carry out cleaning duties related to service areas, equipment, and furniture as required.
- Store food items and equipment correctly after service to maintain hygiene and organisation.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance, ensuring uniform compliance with company regulations at all times.
- Support the implementation of the company's Health & Safety policy and assist in promoting safe working practices.
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures accurately as required.
- Identify and report safety hazards within the kitchen and surrounding areas to your line manager promptly.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by your line manager to support the smooth running of the department.
Key Requirements
- A keen interest in food and service
- Flexibility in hours of work
- The ability to work on own initiative.
- A good knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.
- Good understanding of English.
