Key Responsibilities
Technical Service & Operational Execution
- System Maintenance: Undertake scheduled servicing and routine maintenance on electronic security infrastructure as dispatched by the Service Manager.
- Reactive Response: Attend urgent, reactive fault calls swiftly to diagnose system issues and restore full security coverage.
- On-Call Support: Participate actively in the team's out-of-hours on-call and emergency standby rotas.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering tasks strictly comply with G4S quality benchmarks and local security regulations to maximize customer satisfaction.
Logistics & Resource Management
- Asset Management: Personally oversee the upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of your assigned company vehicle.
- Stock Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels of vehicle stock, tools, and equipment to maximize first-time fix rates.
- Efficiency & Sustainability: Adhere closely to company environmental policies by minimizing material waste and reducing your carbon footprint.
Client Relations & Compliance
- Site Liaison: Collaborate and communicate clearly with customer representatives, site managers, and electrical contractors.
- Professional Integrity: Represent the best interests of the company at all times by maintaining a highly professional, courteous demeanor.
- Health & Safety: Maintain zero compromise on safety by strictly adhering to company health, safety, and risk assessment guidelines.
- Communication: Respond to all internal and external communication requests within appropriate, target-driven timeframes.
About You
- Vetting & Compliance: Able to provide a continuous, 5-year checkable work or educational history for security screening.
- Right to Work: Hold an unrestricted legal right to work full-time in the Republic of Ireland.
- Technical Experience: Proven background in the installation, maintenance, and integration of Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Intercom configurations.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep, operational understanding of current European and Irish regulatory standards relating to Electronic Security Systems (e.g., SR 40 / EN 50131 series).
- Execution Skills: Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English with elite verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Licence: Must possess a full, clean Irish/EU driving licence.
