Description

BDO Ireland are expanding our Customs & International Trade team and are looking for a Senior Manager to support our growing client base and increased service offerings, aligning with our UK practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ambitious and combines strong technical expertise with a practical, commercial approach to advising businesses operating across international supply chains.

The role facilitates a hybrid working model based on a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients navigating customs, export controls and global trade challenges
• Lead complex, end-to-end advisory engagements with real commercial impact
• Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
• Play a key role in growing our practice with the opportunity to progress to Director level in the largest Customs Practice across Ireland and the UK
• Deliver practical, business-focused advice on customs, trade and export controls
• Support clients across all sectors
• Own engagements commercially - scope, delivery, risk and billing
• Identify opportunities for growth across clients and services

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong experience in customs and international trade across all key areas regarding import, export and global trade consulting
• Proven experience in a advisory or consulting role
• Background working with scaling international businesses
• Ability to translate complex regulation into clear, actionable advice
• Commercial mindset with a focus on client outcomes
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
