Role Profile

The successful individual will be a member of the Enterprise and Innovation Group in DCU Business School. They will conduct high quality research and teaching in Business Analytics, with a strong emphasis on analytics and AI for optimising business decision making, productivity, and business value. The role requires experience in the design, operationalisation, and teaching of AI and agentic AI workflows, including the translation of emerging AI capabilities into robust, responsible, and measurable business processes. The successful individual will also contribute expertise in deep learning for natural language processing (NLP), including practical applications such as text analytics, semantic search, information extraction, conversational interfaces, retrieval-augmented generation, and decision-support systems. They will also participate in the School's external engagement activities. Further, the successful individual is expected to contribute to programme management, research supervision and the service activities of the School and University. The successful candidate will contribute to the School's growing activities in analytics, AI, and digital transformation.

Salary Scale:

Assistant Professor - €65,229 - €104,536

Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy.
