Role Overview

Support the day-to-day delivery of Alternatives Transfer Agency operations. Focus on accurate dealing execution, register maintenance, investor transaction control, and timely output delivery. Act as a senior technical resource within the team, helping to resolve complex queries, maintain service quality, and support process improvement through disciplined execution, technology, and data. Coordinate closely with AML/KYC, Tax (FATCA/CRS), Client Service, and internal operational teams to ensure a controlled and client-focused service model.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support daily dealing cycles and investor lifecycle activity, including onboarding coordination, subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and register updates, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.

  • Manage assigned workflows effectively and deliver to agreed SLAs, cut-offs, and control standards.

  • Review core processing outputs and exceptions to ensure data integrity across TA platforms and reports.

  • Coordinate with AML/KYC on investor due diligence requirements, documentation dependencies, and exception follow-up.

  • Coordinate with FATCA/CRS teams on data and reporting obligations, ensuring records remain complete, accurate, and current.

  • Liaise with Client Service and internal stakeholders on queries, escalations, and service-related issues, providing timely and practical support.

  • Support cash flow handoffs, transaction follow-up, and reconciliations with custodians and administrators, ensuring prompt resolution of breaks.

  • Administer fund and share class terms, events, and static data updates in line with prospectus requirements and governing documents.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency through workflow tools, automation, and relevant AI use cases.

  • Partner with Product and Technology teams on enhancements, requirement gathering, UAT support, and implementation activity.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; finance, accounting, or business preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Transfer Agency, Fund Administration, Investor Services, or related operations.

  • Experience across core TA processes, including investor transactions, register maintenance, reconciliations, and issue resolution.

  • Exposure to hedge funds, alternatives, and/or UCITS structures would be advantageous.

  • Experience working within a controlled environment with a strong focus on accuracy, risk awareness, and service delivery.

  • Familiarity with TA platforms, workflow tools, process improvement initiatives, or UAT support would be beneficial.

  • Strong technical understanding of TA processes and the ability to work independently on more complex tasks.

  • Clear communication and effective stakeholder coordination across operations, AML, Tax, Client Service, and Technology.

  • High attention to detail, strong operational discipline, and a consistent control mindset.

  • Analytical and solution-oriented approach to problem solving, exception management, and prioritization.

  • Ownership, accountability, and sound judgement in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong systems aptitude and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

This role supports BNY's strategic pillars by helping deliver reliable client service, strengthening operational discipline, and contributing to a collaborative, continuously improving team environment.
