Part Qualified Accountant

We are seeking to hire a Part Qualified Accountant in ourWaterford City office.

Full time hours: 37.5 hrs per week (in office work only). Working hours areMonday- Thursday 8.30am to 5pm,Friday 8.30am-2pm.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of accounts
• Adhere to all compliance deadlines
• Input into and assisting with the office work plan
• Management of multiple jobs ensuring the key objectives are delivered as required and in a timely manner
• Dealing with ad-hoc client queries

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 12-18 months practice experience within a general accounting team
• Ability to bring accounts to trial balance or completion essential
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation and capability of working on your own initiative
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficient in the use of Bright accounts production, tax pro and auto entry
• Proficient in the use of Bright Payroll
• Experience of VAT, PAYE & CT returns.
