Talent Acquisition Executive

We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Talent Acquisition Executive to join our HR team in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruitment professional looking to further develop their career within a dynamic and growing construction business.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Talent Acquisition Executive will be responsible for managing the end to end recruitment process across a variety of positions within the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting, engaging and securing top talent while helping to enhance the company's employer brand.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy approval through to onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Draft and advertise vacancies across relevant job boards.
Assist Marketing with creating social media campaigns for recruitment.
Screen applications, conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview processes.
Maintain regular communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Manage relationships with recruitment agencies.
Attend careers fairs, industry events and networking opportunities to promote JJ Rhatigan as an employer of choice.
Support graduate and apprenticeship recruitment initiatives.
Develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Monitor recruitment metrics and prepare reports on hiring activity.
Ensure all recruitment activities are carried out in line with employment legislation and company policies.
Assist with onboarding and integration of new employees.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR or a related field.
Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
Strong interviewing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to build effective relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A third level qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline is desirable.
Experience within construction, engineering, or a technical recruitment environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
