About the Role
As a Residential Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of Ballynatray Estate and its associated properties. Working closely with the Estate Security Manager and wider estate team, you will provide a professional and discreet security presence while supporting the day-to-day safety and smooth operation of the estate.
This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion and flexibility, together with the ability to respond calmly and effectively to a range of situations. You will be trusted to work independently, make informed decisions and uphold the highest standards of security and service.

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Protect residents, family members, guests and estate assets.
- Maintain the overall security integrity of the estate and associated properties.
- Manage access control for visitors, contractors and deliveries.
- Conduct regular security patrols across the estate by foot, vehicle and remote monitoring.
- Monitor CCTV, alarm and fire detection systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies and medical situations.
- Manage intruder detection, intervention and trespass incidents.
- Coordinate emergency procedures, including evacuations and lockdown protocols.
- Investigate, record and report incidents, accidents and near misses.
- Liaise professionally with contractors, consultants and external service providers.
- Support estate events and guest reception activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with estate policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Build positive working relationships across all areas of the estate.
- Identify risks and opportunities for improvement, helping to maintain exceptional standards throughout the estate.

Essential Requirements
- A valid Private Security Authority (PSA) licence, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Previous experience within residential security, estate security, hospitality security or a similar environment, or demonstrable transferable skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening, including reference and background checks where applicable.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience operating CCTV and alarm systems.
- First Aid Responder (FAR) qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working within private estates, luxury residential environments, hospitality or customer-facing security roles.
- Experience in incident management and emergency response.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and best practice.
