HSSD Operative

Permanent Post - 21 hours per week scheduled over 3 days

Applications are invited for the post of HSSD Operative working within Hospital Sterile Services at Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenges of working in an acute hospital environment and possess the following skills at a minimum:

Requirements:

• Demonstration of relevant experience in a similar role is highly desirable but not essential
• Leaving cert or equivalent level of education at a minimum is essential
• Relevant qualification is required, however, if not attained, the person must have an interest in attaining the relevant qualification in the future
• HSSD experience is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability/attention to detail and having an understanding of patient focused approach to work is essential
• Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, under supervision and direction of the HSSD Manager essential
