Clinical Data Science Manager

As a Manager, Clinical Data Science at ICON, you will oversee the analysis and interpretation of clinical data to support drug development and improve patient outcomes.

What You Will Do:

You will oversee clinical data science workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving the analysis of clinical trial data to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective data collection, management, and reporting throughout clinical trials.
  • Overseeing the implementation of best practices in data science methodologies and technologies within the organization.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Establishing strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance data integrity and optimize clinical outcomes.


Your Profile:

You will have solid clinical data science experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

Required qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in clinical data analysis, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages, with a keen ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders and driving positive change.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)
