Night Porter

Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking a, Night Porter to jointhe team in it's unique four star hotel.

You will report to the Front Office Manager and NightManager, To ensure that all guests receive a warm, memorable andpersonalized welcome to Temple Bar Hotel, setting the scene for their stay andensure that guest needs are anticipated and that any requests are actioned.Complete administrative tasks accurately and within given deadlines. Beresponsible for the security of the hotel and its guests overnight.

A Night Porter will be responsible for:

• Ensure all lobbies, public restrooms, and public areas are clean, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing furniture, floors, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Clean and maintain areas like Bar, OTB, and Toast restaurant, and inspect furniture for damages or stains.
• Restock supplies in lobby bathrooms and maintain all cleaning equipment.
• Remove all rubbish from public areas and ensure the front of the hotel is free from litter.
• Respond to guest inquiries, assist with directions, and address requests while maintaining a welcoming demeanor.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor, ensuring smooth night operations.

• The ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• A collaborative attitude to work effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Accuracy in taking orders and maintaining cleanliness to meet high service standards.
• The ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
• Understanding and adhering to health and safety regulations
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
