The growing demand for online shopping means that we have an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our expanding team and further propel our growth.
This is a full time / permanent role based out of our stunning new Wexford Town HQ. The successful candidate will drive pipeline growth to uncover, qualify and nurture new opportunities within key markets. This role is focused on outbound prospecting to target accounts to secure initial qualified meetings. Some inbound leads may be provided from marketing demand generation.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Scurri's delivery management software and its benefits to our customers.
- Generate qualified meetings for the sales team by researching, qualifying and establishing contacts at target accounts.
- Follow up and qualify leads via telephone and email with a goal of scheduling meetings for the sales team.
- Enthusiastically work on multi-channel outbound activities, representing Scurri in a
highly professional manner. - Build target account profiles by researching and adding target personas to
Salesforce. - Consistently meet and exceed monthly target number of calls, social touches, emails to deliver net new opportunities to the sales team.
- Log, track and maintain all activities in accordance with sales processes and methodology in Salesforce CRM, producing reports and presentations as required.
- Be able to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner.
- Leverage AI tools to increase personal productivity and develop AI assisted workflows in order to speed up and improve technical support.
- Lead the charge in eliminating manual friction by identifying high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation and supporting automation projects within the technical support workflow, customer communications and reporting.
- Leverage prospecting tools (including AI) to research companies and identify key decision makers at new accounts.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Business related third level qualification or similar.
- 1+ years experience in a sales or business development role with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to log activity accurately in a CRM, working to structured sequences and maintaining good data hygiene.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to think quickly.
- Ability to craft compelling, hyper-personalised emails and LinkedIn messages that cut through the noise, capture executive attention, and consistently drive reply rates.
- Possesses the resilience, tenacity and self-motivation to maintain high daily activity levels (calls, emails, social touches) in the face of frequent rejection, treating setbacks as data points rather than roadblocks.
- Quota-driven, and possesses a strong desire to win, consistently striving to exceed personal targets and be a top performer.
- Demonstrates commitment to the team - shares insights, celebrates others success, and contributes to a high-energy, supportive culture.
- An ability to connect with target customers and convert them into qualified opportunities.
- A relentless drive to leverage and implement AI tools across manual/routine tasks,
and to build workflows and processes around AI Agents to increase productivity and improve reporting. - Demonstrate a personal commitment to mastering new AI tools, prompt engineering techniques, and automation frameworks to apply that knowledge for operational gains.
- Full clean and valid driving licence.
- Able to travel freely and regularly in Ireland, UK, EU and US to events (sometimes at short notice)
