Deal Advisory - Manager
The Manager role is focused on leading financial due diligence engagements and taking ownership of key workstreams across transaction-related assignments. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, management teams and senior colleagues to deliver high-quality analysis and insights, while also supporting junior team development and contributing to the continued growth of the Deal Advisory practice.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day delivery of financial due diligence assignments for corporate, private equity and lender clients across a broad range of sectors;
Take ownership of key workstreams, including earnings analysis, working capital assessments, cash flow review, debt and debt-like analysis, and the identification of transaction risks and value drivers;
Coordinate with clients, target management, advisers and internal specialists to ensure information requests are progressed efficiently and reports are delivered to a high standard;
Review and guide the work of junior team members, providing support, direction and quality control across engagements;
Support directors and partners in presenting findings to clients, highlighting key issues, commercial implications and potential deal considerations; and
Contribute to client relationship development, proposal preparation and the continued growth of the due diligence offering within Deal Advisory.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Strong experience in transaction services, financial due diligence environment, with a track record of leading engagements;
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent;
- Solid financial analysis, report writing and project management capabilities;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial findings clearly to a range of stakeholders; and
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
