Front of House Receptionist

As Front of House Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for Vertiv. It will be your primary responsibility to greet all clients and visitors in person and over the phone, assisting them with any appropriate information that they need whilst also maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: -

  • Management of a multi-line switchboard dealing with calls politely and professionally, forwarding calls to respective personnel and departments as required.
  • Greeting of Visitors, Clients, and Contractors professionally and determine the nature and purpose of their visit.
  • Responsibility for managing Meeting Room System and organizing Client Refreshments etc.
  • Monitor visitors' access and issue electronic visitor passes.
  • Administration support for Managing Director.
  • Consolidating multiple Credit Card monthly statements on behalf of the Travel Department.
  • Assisting the Travel Dept. with overflow booking of Flights, Ferry Crossings, Hotels, Rail, Taxi & Hire Cars and issuing documentation to Travelers
  • Sort daily outgoing mail, messages and ad hoc deliveries.
  • Performing ad hoc duties as and when required.

Qualifications: -

  • Travel or Business-related degree is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment
  • Proven experience in a similar role holding a minimum of 3-5 years exposure in a comparable position.
  • Proven experience of working in a highly Professional Environment.

Additional / Preferred Qualifications: -

  • Excellent Admin skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is Essential
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail is Essential.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage, prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
  • High personal motivation and enjoy a busy working environment.
  • Work well as a member of the Team, as well as working well independently.
  • The ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of Travel Booking Procedures would be preferred but not essential.
